Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for CiteLens subscriptions. It complements our Distance Sales Agreement and Terms of Service.

1. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Billing → billing portal. There is no cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and your plan will not renew after that.

2. Access after cancellation

After you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not delete your data immediately; you can export it from Organization → Data & privacy before access ends.

3. Refunds

Subscriptions are billed monthly for a service delivered immediately, so paid periods are generally non-refundable, and cancelling stops future charges rather than refunding the current month. We will, of course, honor any refund required by applicable consumer law, and we may issue a refund at our discretion in cases such as a duplicate charge or a verified billing error. To request a refund, contact hello@citelens.ai with your account email and details.

4. Free trial

If a trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial. To avoid the first charge, cancel before the trial ends; you will keep access until the trial period finishes.
